AN EXPLANATION:
KJAB RADIO is a listener supported, Southern Gospel radio, Bluegrass Gospel radio station playing Gospel Music and programming 24/7. Not only are we a local station to Central Missouri, but we have a world wide outreach via our stream on the Internet. Literally, we have listeners all over the world. We are a non-commercial station, which means we depend on our listeners to help meet the financial obligations of running this station.
SHARE-A-THON is our main fundraiser where we seek to raise the listener’s portion of our operating budget. We conduct two Share-a-thons each year in the Spring and Fall. Our Spring Share-a-thon always begins the 2nd Monday in March and is an exciting event with a Camp Meeting atmosphere. We will have great music and an exciting contest to encourage folks to support the radio station.
SPRING SHARE-A-THON 2010: Share-a-thon will be held March 8-13. Our theme will be "Proclaiming an Unchanging God to a Changing World."
FALL SHARE-A-THON:
Our Fall Share-a-thon runs six days in October and will focus on raising the funds needed for the remaining 88 days of this year's broadcasting.
We also air interviews with local pastors and other leaders in our community.
OUR PURPOSE:
In each Share-a-thon, we preempt our regular broadcasting to ask our listeners to consider supporting The Master's Radio with a financial gift. KJAB is like a missionary, proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel 24 hours a day in message and music.
